Summary
The recent discovery of an unprecedented photographic archive has brought to light the figure of a great unknown: Guillermo Zúñiga. The life of the father of Spanish scientific cinema is a fascinating journey through transcendental moments of recent history. He was a pedagogical missionary during the Second Republic, a war photographer in the Civil War, exiled, imprisoned in camps and member of the Resistance in occupied France, a producer of commercial cinema in Perón's Argentina, returned as a producer for UNINCI in the Spain of the sixties and finally founder of the Spanish Association of Scientific Cinema.
